Responsible Sourcing of Raw Materials
We commit to sourcing 100% of our cocoa
through our NESTLÉ COCOA PLAN by
2025.
The Nestlé Cocoa Plan aims to help farmers address the challenges they face through three pillars – better farming, better lives and better cocoa.
Activities such as training in better agricultural practices, distributing forest and fruit trees, promoting gender equality and education for children, help farmers to improve the quality of their production, as well as their income and livelihoods.
Better Farming:
Providing training and resources to help farmers improve yields
and quality, tackling deforestation and improving livelihoods.
Better Lives:
Protecting children, empowering women and improving access to
education to help communities thrive.
Better Cocoa:
Enhancing supply chain traceability and building long-term
relationships with farmer groups.

NESCAFÉ’s responsible sourcing journey starts with the men and women who grow our coffee beans. Our experts visit their farms to pass on innovative sustainable agricultural practices to ensure the future of coffee, helping them earn more, stay healthier and work more in tune with nature.
We’re respecting the planet by working to make all our coffee production more sustainable. That means encouraging agricultural biodiversity on the land, saving water and reducing carbon emissions at every step of the way from farm to factory.
When we put so much respect into our coffee, it’s only natural that we’ll care just as much about what we sell it in. So we’re designing packaging that’s easier to recycle.
This is where you come in – you can make some respectful choices every time you enjoy our coffee. We’ve got some great ideas to inspire you.
